A 4.7-star average across 1,700+ Amazon ratings is the best of any unit in this class. The honest caveats: at ~$319 street it carries a design premium over the TCL Q-series with near-identical specs; the warranty is a flat single year, thin next to LG's 10-year compressor coverage; and failure threads, while sparse, cluster on Wi-Fi module dropouts and fan bearing hum after a season or two — with a young company, long-term parts support is the open bet. Note the current WhisperTech model is rated 8,000 BTU, replacing the original non-inverter 8,300 BTU Windmill. If you stare at your AC every day and want it silent and handsome, this is the one that doesn't look like an appliance compromise.
